My big final class before I graduated was Project and Portfolio 6. I was required to record and produce a song. I added another challenge by writing and performing the song myself as well.
Writing and Producing
This song has 43 tracks in it, and each one is super important!! This took me about 60 hours overall to create from start to finish.
Mixing
Each track is using at least 3 plugins. These plugins, plus the art of panning, automating mutes and volume and fades, all played a part in the final mix of this song
Mastering
Finally, after all of that hard work is done, we get to master the song. Mastering is a tricky topic. In this stage, the final touches are put on the song for audio quality and overall consistency.
